5 days. That’s all I have left with the amazing Communiteam of MRM.
It’s been an incredible year and 1 month with this bunch of crazy and creative people, and to be quite frank, it breaks my heart knowing that I only have a handful of days left in my cozy team-professed VIP area of an office.
Forgive me for the feels post. Anyway, here’s a recap of how our recent team outing went!
It’s amazing what a chill and feel good weekend can bring. After having one too many OT nights with the team, we decided we deserved an out of town trip filled with lots of good food, infectious laughter, and downright hilarious stories.
We had the comfort of waking up to the sounds of the waves and the scent of the ocean.
One of the games we played involved a timeline of community managers both past and present. What I initially thought would be an easy task actually turned out to be quite challenging, as I saw photos of people I hadn’t even known – which is pretty weird considering I’m one of the CMs who’ve stayed been here the longest. Nevertheless, it felt nice seeing the familiar faces of friends I’ve made throughout my stay.
The amount of food we ate on this trip is just unbelievable. We were such gluttons that one of us even fell asleep while still at the dining table. Srsly. Our room alone had a supply of cup noodles, chocolates, chips, and soda.
I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed Kare-Kare this much. Goodness gracious, the peanut sauce was just so unbelievably rich that I couldn’t help but pour numerous spoonfuls of it on my rice. NAPAKAIN AKO NG KANIN SA SARAP.
Pinakbet vs. Chopsuey. The former has bagoong. That makes all the difference.
I don’t understand how I’ve lived 22 years of my life without ordering Creamy Tofu before. The squares of tofu were soft and delicate inside while having a bit of a crispness, a result of it being served on a sizzling plate.
The creamy sauce that coated the tofu was just pure #OUFT goodness! ;) Props to you if you understand the use of hashtag!
We took a stopover at Tagaytay on the way back to Manila, feasted on pots of rich Bulalo, and ended our trip on a sweet note with cups of coffee and dessert at Bag of Beans.
In retrospect, I’m proud and happy to say that I’ve started my post graduation career in Communiteam. I’ve learned so much during my stay and I’ve been exposed to so many experiences, both good and bad.
As I move on to a new stage of my life, it’s good to know that I will always have fond memories of the team that helped prepare me for all that is yet to come. :)
Cheers to you, Communiteam! This is T-Rox C-Rox saying thank you and I will miss you! :’)
