Dinner and drinks with a few NUS friends.

I’ve been catching up with old friends since the boyfriend’s away, and last week I scheduled a dinner date with one of my NUS mates, Paige.

There’s always a certain comfort whenever I’m with Paige. This doesn’t really come as a surprise to me because she has after all seen me in my worst – groggy and dressed in pajamas at 6 in the morning and sweaty and red-faced after an intense work out session.

And I guess that’s one of the things I love about our friendship. We’re just so darn comfortable with each other that we can skip all the small talk and go right ahead with the inside jokes and lovingly “cruel” remarks.

After our dinner date at Early Bird Breakfast, we headed over to Beso for some drinks with a few of our other NUS friends.

The night was spent catching up over who’s working where and how the time just flew from us getting caught up with college studies to actually being employed for almost a year now.

I won’t divulge anything else about how the rest of the conversation went, but let’s just say that I found more support for an impending life goal of mine. And well, that’s always a good thing. :)
