Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup


I made a classic combination for dinner earlier and was pretty pleased with the result.

Since I wanted a bit of texture in the tomato soup, I only blended three quarters of it before serving. It came out really nice and the touch of yogurt at the end completely sealed the deal for me.

For the grilled cheese, I copied a classic food truck secret. I added a few drops of water to the pan while the bread toasted, covered it with a lid for a few seconds and tadaaaaah, melted cheese that would ooze off the sides! Yum!
