I’d like to see the good guys win.
I worry when terrorist attacks prove to be a persistent disease, how it seems to just tick off countries one by one.
I worry when groups use religion to turn hatred into a norm, when only selected passages are highlighted and assumed to be the whole truth.
I worry when racism taints the eyes of those who are upset and angry over what has become of their country, their friend, or their family.
And I worry when I remember that I have someone in active duty, who signed off his next few years to serve in the US Military.
“This is yet another reminder that the world must unite. We must be together regardless of nationality, or race, or faith in fighting against the scourge of terrorism. We can and we will defeat those who threaten the safety and security of people all around the world.” - Obama 2016
